McGAVOCK CAMP MEMBERS BATTLE YANKEES
AT MANSKER STATION

Members of the Col. Randal W. McGavock camp battled invading union forces at Mansker Station on Saturday October 3rd. Three battles took place during the day to fend off the union forces and to protect the home's residents. Some members stayed late into the dark of the evening to help out the indians in attacking English settlers at the fort. A good time was had by all camp members and the attending public.    Pictures taken during the event are shown below.

COL. RANDAL W. McGAVOCK CAMP VOLUNTEERS SUPPORT THE HERMITAGE HAUNTINGS

Members of the Col. Randal W. McGavock camp (including some wives) once again volunteered to help the Hermitage and welcome and inspect all visitors coming to the Hermitage Haunting activities. With all members dressed in Confederate uniforms and 1860s period dress, the visitors were all greeted and duly advised of ghost being present in the darkness beyond our check point. We can only hope they all made it through the unprotected area safely and continued to have a good time at all the night's activities.
