~~ "Momma, Dear Momma" ~~

As he walks through a wall of smoke,
his eyes did water and he starts to choke.
Blasts all around,
like thunder so strong they shake the ground.
The yells and screams and lifeless forms,
as the Blue and Gray clash as a mighty storm.
Men were lying all over the ground,
crying for Ma' Ma' and then no sound.
Ma' Ma' dear Ma' Ma' you could here them say,
as their lifeblood flowed on the battlefield that day.
Miniballs and Grapeshot zip all around his head,
as he try's to reload lying among all the dead.
He gets to his feet to make one final stand,
as he fixes bayonet on his old three band.
He is a brave soldier, ready to give up his life,
for his Ma' and Pa' his children his wife.
Yes he's a Southern Soldier and proud of that fact,
they started this war there's no turning back.
He would rather die than to surrender this day,
and "Ma Ma dear Ma Ma" was the last words he did say.
