SCV TAGS IN TENNESSEE!

For the past several years the Tennessee Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans fought for the right to display SCV tags on our vehicles. Now that we have finally won the battle, where are the orders?

The deadline for purchasing a Tennessee SCV license plate is January 31, 2003. Some members of the Tennessee House of Representatives thought for sure that raising the minimum number from 500 to 1,000 would provide the roadblock that would keep us from getting the plates. Skip Earle, Tennessee Division Commander is determined it will not. We seldom take action without a target or deadline.January 31st is that deadline.

We must show our opposition we can get the job done. You may order as many tags as you wish and display them on all of your vehicles.

Reserve your SCV plate by sending $35.00 to:
Dillard-Judd Camp 1828
Attn: SCV Plate
P.O. Box 205
Cookeville, TN. 38503-0205

Better yet, bring it to the LEE-JACKSON Banquet.

DEADLINE FOR PURCHASING TENNESSEE LICENSE PLATES IS JANUARY 31, 2003

IF NOT YOU, THEN WHO?

TENNESSEE SOUTHERN HERITAGE MEMORIAL!

The Tennessee Southern Heritage Memorials will honor the named Tennesseans for their courage, duty and devotion to the cause of Constitutional freedom which, under God, grants the people inalienable rights of self-determination and breeds such mighty and noble men as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Sam Watkins, Sam Davis, Alvin York, Andrew Jackson, Nathan Bedford Forrest, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee.

The Memorials will stand as a permanent tribute to all men and women who served in the defense of their beloved State of Tennessee during the War for Southern Independence.
The Tennessee Division Sons of Confederate Veterans, Inc., a Tennessee not-for-profit corporation, is proud to dedicate these tokens of our appreciation to those who so valiantly stood dor their State and the constitutional beliefs of our fore-fathers in a heroic stand against overwhelming odds. Their valor, courage, and devotion to duty has forever since been an inspiration to the men and women of the great State of Tennessee.
