Memorial Day 2006 A brief hail storm sent us scurrying to our cars but did not deter us from honoring our fallen heroes in Evergreen Cemetery. Our speaker was Dr. Robert Neff, author of "Tennessee's Battered Brigadier (The Life of Joseph B. Palmer)

After the ceremony we were treated to a private tour of Gen. Palmer's house and a picnic in the back yard.
