On Saturday April 26, 2008 three members of SCV Camp 2034 participated in the "Fairview Clean Sweep" clean-up day running weed-eaters and cleaning up the Beech-Hughes and Brown-Chester Cemeteries in Fairview, TN. The Beech-Hughes Cemetery is the final resting place of Pvt. William Hughes, Pvt. Co. B 24 Tennessee Infantry CSA and Paul B. Beech, Pvt. Co. H. 20th Tennessee Infantry, CSA. The members also took the time to place VA markers for these two Confederate soldiers.
