Saturday April 8, 2006 Captain E. D. Baxter Camp 2034 Sons of Confederate Veterans in Fairview placed stones for 5 area veterans.

On a beautiful fall day the members of SCV Camp 2034 held a memorial for four unknown Confederate soldiers in Walker Cemetery in Northwestern Williamson County. The four unknown soldiers were killed in a skirmish just a short distance from the cemetery. After the Walker Cemetery memorial the members traveled to Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview to place a marker on the grave of Private William Jackson Hudgins.

Thanks to all the compatriots that participated in the memorial services.
